Religious Education Creative Arts Prize – Congratulations

It was an honour and privilege to attend the diocesan Religious Education Creative Arts Prize showcase evening last Wednesday evening. We were able to celebrate William S who received 1st place for Stage One short film category. We also celebrate Charlotte S who received 3rd Place for Stage 2 Music Category. What a wonderful night and we are so proud of both William and Charlotte.

Family Mass – Thank you so much to all those who were able to join us for our school family Mass on Saturday, 9 November. It was a wonderful Mass, and we thank Jennifer and Daniel for providing the music for us.

We are looking forward to our next family Mass on Saturday, 7 December. Mrs Webster and the choir will be providing music. Everyone is welcome to join us for the Mass. We are asking our Kindy 2024 and Senior students to help run the mass.

Altar servers

Congratulations to our 3 wonderful year 4 students, Charlotte S, Xander P, Niah W, who attended the formation session with Deacon Peter recently. It was a wonderful session, and we look forward to seeing these dedicated students on the altar once they complete their training in the next few weeks.

Christmas masses

Preparations for Nativity Play during the Christmas Children’s Mass is underway for OLGC. The children’s Mass will be held on Tuesday, 24 December at 5:30pm in the OLGC church.

If your child would like to be part of this wonderful tradition, whether as Mary, Joseph, an angel, a shepherd, or even a star, we would love to have them join us!

No prior acting experience is needed, just a joyful heart and a willingness to participate in the story of Jesus’ birth. To sign up or for more information, please contact the parish office on parishoffice@ffacp.org.au or Susanne Bragge on sacraments@ffcp.org.au or susanne.bragge@dbb.catholic.edu.au before Monday, 9 December.
