Library News Week 2, Term 2 2024

Library News Term 2

Welcome back to another fun term of learning in the library.

Thank you to all our Year 3 and 4 students for their very impressive dedication to learning using the Universal Design for Learning framework throughout Term 1.   All students showed great focus, enthusiasm and commitment to their projects, producing work of a very high standard. Year 3’s project focus was the Indonesian Folktales of Si Kancil (mouse deer), while Year 4 concentrated on the heritage, global movement, and contemporary usage of the iconic Indonesian garment, the kebaya.

 Premier’s Reading Challenge

A friendly reminder that students can still participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. There is plenty of time to enrol, and student entries don’t close until Friday, 23 August 2024.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the 15 students who have already completed their challenge.  What an achievement!

If your child has participated in the Challenge in previous years, they automatically become participants for 2024 as soon as they log their first books.  If your child would like to participate for the first time, please complete the form: https://forms.office.com/r/6HHDzGx9cn?origin=lprLink One form per child, please.  For all details about booklists and general Challenge go to https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/home.html.
