Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2025
Dear parents and caregivers,
Thank you for your patience surround the Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) for 2025.
Since the Challenge began over four weeks ago, students and coordinators have experienced login and access issues with the PRC site – but as of last week, everything is finally up and running! Due to the technical difficulties faced by the PRC team, the new deadline is now Friday, 19 September 2025 (Week 9, Term 3).
The PRC is a reading challenge for K–6 students to read more and read more widely, with booklists offering a rich variety of literature by Australian authors across genres like fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, and picture books.
Most interested students have been signed up. Please check with your child, and let me know if you would prefer, they not participate.
All Kindergarten children are encouraged to sign up, and parents are invited to fill in the form below.
See the attached documents on how to log books. I would recommend using the personal reading log sheet attached to add any books read and then transfer these to the site when time permits.
