Welcome to Term 4!
We’re excited to begin the final term of the year and look forward to celebrating everything the students have achieved. Parents and families should be incredibly proud of how far the children have come. Let’s make this a fantastic term!
Whole school Family Mass
We are excited to invite everyone to our next family Mass:
When: Saturday, 9 November at the 5:30pm Vigil Mass.
Where: OLGC Church
This will be a whole-school family celebration, and we are delighted that Jennifer and Daniel, parents of Bradley and Joshua, will be playing and leading us in music at this Mass. There will be pizza to share afterwards, making it a great community event. Please look out for an invitation and remember to RSVP.
Back by popular demand and amazing efforts in previous years is SOCKTOBER!
This year we are focusing on raising funds for those in need in Mongolia.
This year – each grade will fundraise as a group. The grade who raises the most will receive a prize which I will reveal later.
For example, Year 1 students can register for Year 1 at our school and try to raise the most across our school
Prizes and SOCKTOBER EVENT will be held on THURSDAY, 7 November. More exciting details to be announced soon!
Steps to get fundraising:
- SIGN UP https://www.socktober.org.au/
- LINK YOUR ACCOUNT TO OUR SCHOOL AND YOUR GRADE (Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School Forestville)
- Start raising FUNDS for those in need
BE INSPIRED https://youtu.be/hk9H9s6XtNc?si=ZuAWwkiSpNR-qfNt
Thank you for making a difference to the lives of those in need.
I look forward to supporting this fundraising event at OLGC, with the support of our staff, students and community.
Together we can move mountains, and I look forward to together reflecting on all that we have achieved for those in need last year.
